Sustainable Development Goals

At Noldenbirge, we define approaches and design interventions to advance India's progress towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Nonetheless, we are confident that our actions as a social impact organisation will directly contribute to the following five goals and their individual targets.

Sustainable Development Goal Four

Quality Education

Noldenbirge draws from applied education research to create and distribute digital Open Social Learning Experiences that enable parents, teachers and school leaders to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Sustainable Development Goal Five

Gender Equality

Noldenbirge supports schools and their immediate communities to create inclusive learning spaces and provide equitable learning opportunities for all learners to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Sustainable Development Goal Eight

Decent Work and Economic Growth

Noldenbirge supports the adults who work with children to foster a culture of lifelong learning that promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

Sustainable Development Goal Ten

Reduced Inequalities

Noldenbirge focuses on backing schools to cultivate curious, cohesive and compassionate parent-teacher-child partnerships in every school to reduce inequality within and among countries.

Sustainable Development Goal Sixteen

Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

Noldenbirge advocates for education policies and schooling practices that promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.

If you believe in the power of applied education research as the obvious first step in bridging the gap between education policy and its everyday practice, we invite you to support our work. You can donate to transform school education through applied education research space here.
